Q: What is the first thing you do when you wake up?

GM: The first thing I do when I wake up is drink water and stretch.

 

Q: Do you have a morning routine?

GM: I usually make breakfast, check emails and plan out my day.

 

Q: Do you have any special tips on how to tackle schoolwork and projects?

GM: I would recommend getting a planner and work on a project in chunks.

 

Q: How do you unwind at the end of the day?

GM: After a long day, I usually listen to music or watch movies.

 

Q: How has your POWAN experience been?

GM: My experience with POWAN has been great! I joined POWAN because I believe all students should have the resources they need to succeed academically.

 

Q: What’s something special that happened recently?

GM: I recently passed all my entrance exams for graduate school! This is special to me because the months I spent studying paid off.

 

Q: What was your biggest academic accomplishment or your greatest accomplishment in general?

GM: Graduating from UCR has been my greatest accomplishment so far.

 

Q: Was there anyone or any resources that you used to help you get this point?

GM: My high school mentors helped me apply to college. My parents also motivated me to continue higher education.

 

Q: If you could go back in time to change one thing about the process leading up to your success, what would it be and why?

GM: I don’t think I would change anything about the process leading to my success.
